"Dr. Li is the best mentor I have ever met. She is always encouraging and supportive, and will respect my ideas on exploring different paths of researches. The whole group created a much more welcoming environment during my rotation, which made me feel really comfortable and passionate doing research in the lab."

About Me

I am working on several projects including the investigation of neuropeptide expression level and spatial distribution changes in blue crabs after exposure to silver nanoparticles, studying the extracellular matrix (ECM) alterations during the progression of ovarian cancer, and characterizing human pancreatic and islet ECM proteome at different developmental ages.

I truly enjoy the freedom of investigating a broad range of research interests, as well as the open discussion of ideas with my great PI and intelligent colleagues.
