About Me
Dr. Li stood out to me because her lab combines mass spectrometry technology development at all angles to tackle complex biomedical questions mass spec is unqiue;y suited to handle. I joined her group over others because I wanted hands-on experience in a collaborative environment where I could both develop technical proteomics skills and contribute to clinically relevant research.
My project focuses on diabetes-associated proteomic remodeling, including changes in protein abundance and post-translational modifications such as glycosylation and phosphorylation, to better understand altered signaling, extracellular matrix remodeling, and metabolic dysfunction in diabetic tissues.
