B.S. Chemistry, University of Illinois at Chicago, 2018
(Advisor: Dr. Stephanie Cologna)
"UW-Madison has great research programs based in biological mass spectrometry, but I was most interested in using mass spectrometry to answer questions about neuroscience. Dr. Li's lab is the perfect place to do that."
My first project in the lab is method development for post-translational modification (PTM) enrichment, specifically phosphorylation and glycosylation.
The most enjoyable thing about being in the lab is collaborating with others with diverse research interests in answering biological questions using analytical chemistry techniques.
