Dr. Li taught my first-year pharmacy biochemistry course, and she immediately stood out as an exceptional educator. She was patient, approachable, and highly interactive, and she created an environment where students felt comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material. After learning more about her research, I became especially interested in the lab’s work in mass spectrometry and neurodegenerative disease. I chose the Li Lab because it offered the opportunity to learn advanced analytical techniques that I believe will be valuable throughout my career as a pharmacist and researcher, and because Dr. Li and her team have been incredibly welcoming and supportive from the start.
